Poggio della Buttinera Pinot Nero Oltrepò Pavese DOC Riserva
Poggio della Buttinera Oltrepò Pavese DOC is 100% Pinot Nero produced by Travaglino winery. After harvesting, Pinot Noir grapes arrive to the cellar, performing the destemming and fermentation processes at a temperature between 22 and 24 °C with maceration in steel vats. The wine ages for 1 year in French oak tonneaux and barriques and it completes its refinement for a further year in the bottle.
The winemaking process, refinement and prolonged staying in the bottle have enhanced the characteristic aroma of Pinot Noir grapes, which offer deep ruby red colour, together with notes of wild strawberry, cherry and spices. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.

Chosen for you
Travaglino is the oldest winery of the Oltrepò Pavese area, which today cultivates over 80 hectares of vineyards immersed in a rural and wooded landscape of pristine beauty. Travaglino is located in a magic line, a fertile and vital strip of land in Calvignano, in the suitable vineyards of the hills above. Travaglino is a meaningful name: it orginates from the Piedmontese "travaj" word (work) and it also indicates a particular variety of grapes.
