Casisano Brunello di Montalcino DOCG
Casisano Brunello di Montalcino DOCG expresses the great beauty of the lands of Montalcino. Produced by Tommasi winery, this Brunello is the result of a careful selection of the grapes from the noblest vineyards of Sangiovese Grosso. The meticulous selection is followed by vinification with the maceration of the skins in steel vats at controlled temperature for 25 days days. The wine is then aged for 3 years in fine Slavonian oak barrels that allow the wine to best express its great balance. After refining in wood, the wine is bottled to create a red wine that preserves the incredible that makes Brunello famous all over the world.
It has an elegant ruby red colour. Refined and intense aromas, of great finesse, which melt fruity notes of cherry and blackberry with the typical spicy aromas of Tuscan Sangiovese. Great structure, elegant and balanced. It is distinguished by its velvety tannins and its complex fruity notes that return to the palate. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C. To taste its maximum expression, decant the wine at least 1 hour before serving.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
The elegance and harmonious body of Brunello di Casisano allow pairings with very structured dishes with strong tastes, such as roasts and red meat, as well as feathered and furred game, especially wild boar and pheasant, accompanied by mushrooms or truffles.
