Oddone Sangiovese Superiore Romagna DOC
Oddone Sangiovese Superiore Romagna DOC is a red wine that perfectly expresses the convivial and playful character of Romagna land. It is produced by Tenuta La Viola winery in the Bertinoro hills, thinking of the idea that it is not necessary to drink a structured wine to experience a moment of relax, as even simplicity and pleasantness can give you time off. Therefore, it is no coincidence that the winery has called this wine "Oddone": tha name originates from a joyful winelover who lived in Bertinoro in the eleventh century. On the label there is the "Column of the Rings", which is the ancient symbol of Bertinoro's hospitality.
This Sangiovese di Romagna is fresh and immediate. Pleasant fruity scents of small red fruits and fresh flowers. The palate is vivid: both freshness and intensity are good. A lively tannic texture surrounds the palate and lead to pleasant persistence. Great mouth. It’s an enormously pleasing wine. We suggest serving it at room temperature around 16-18 °C, or even cooler.
