Tarà Pecorino Falerio DOC
Tarà Farleno Pecorino DOC white wine produced by Tenuta Cocci Grifoni is made from 85% Pecorino and 15% Trebbiano grapes, grown in the homonymous Tarà estate, where the vineyards are between 20 and 30 years old and are they are immersed in a naturalistic and woody area, circumscribed by two large canyons that favour the development of the vines. After a manual harvest, starting from the second decade of September, the grapes are vinified in white in temperature-controlled steel tanks at 16 ° C. The wine obtained is always refined in stainless steel for at least 3 months.
Beautiful straw yellow colour with intense and lively greenish undertones. Good the olfactory consistency and intensity, with citrus notes of grapefruit peel, aromatic herbs and white flowers, white fruit of golden apples and plums. Mineral notes with pleasant references to almond scents. The entry in the mouth is pleasant, intense and persistent in the finish, supported by savory and fresh notes. Hints of pomaceous and mineral notes complete the tasting. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8 °C.
