Seriulin Langhe DOC
Seriulin was born from a memory of the fifth generation currently in charge of the Piedmontese Fratelli Serio and Battista Borgogno winery. It is not just a wine, it is the story of a joyful soul, that of Nonno Serio called "Seriulin", who made his nephews taste his two favorite wines: Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. A proud man who continues to admire his house and his vineyards. The wine reflects all that was Serio Borgogno: freshness, genuineness and humility of Dolcetto with the more austere and severe character of Nebbiolo. A convivial wine, to be shared with friends and family. A simple and at the same time structured and elegant wine.
It is a blend of Dolcetto and Nebbiolo grapes, which ferment in wooden barrels and after the assembly they refine in steel for about 6 months.
Red with violet hues that opens to the full and pleasantly fruity nose, with well-defined hints of red fruit jam. The palate is full-bodied evoking hints of blackberries and raspberries, a simple wine with a fresh finish reminiscent of Dolcetto and elegant Nebbiolo structure. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
