Tragugnano Orvieto DOC BIO
Tragugnano Orvieto DOC wine produced by Sergio Mottura winery is a white wine made from selected Grechetto 50%, Procanico 40% and Sauvignon Blanc 10% grapes. It is a wine suitable for some years of aging. After a soft crushing, the pressed grapes ferment at controlled temperatures and ages in steel for about 4 months. The wine completes its refinement in the bottle for another 2 months. This wine has obtained the Organic certification.
Tragugnano Orvieto DOC has a straw yellow colour with natural golden undertones. Following harvest, it expresses sweet and warm aromas of wild mustard flowers and vanilla. When ripe, it offers more pungent aromas of wild mint, sage, thyme and resin. Dry but soft, persistent complex. It has a strong personality and its softness wraps the food enhancing the taste. We recommend serving between 8 and 10 °C. It is a wine whose body offers considerable complexity, able to withstand some years of aging very well.
