Trentenate by San Salvatore 1988 winery is a white wine made from 100% Fiano grapes, cultivate in Stio, in the province of Salerno. Harvest is manual, in small boxes. The grapes are de-stimmed and gently crushed, before macerating at a temperature of 4 °C for 6 hours. After the fermentation, made in stainless steel tanks at very low temperatures, the wine is aged for 6 months on its fine lees.
This white wine has a golden yellow straw colour. On the nose, you can feel tasty hints of tropical fruit and peach, combined with floral fragrances of jasmine and broom. In the mouth it is full and very crispy. Great minerality. We recommend to serve it at a temperature of 8-9 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS

San Salvatore 1988
Our company was founded in the heart of the Cilento National Park , an ancient land , rich in history and tradition, never touched by intensive agriculture . The winery is located in the same area where the Ancient Greeks began the colonization of Magna Grecia and where for the first time brought Aglianico , Fiano and Greco grapes. Their vineyards were located in the same places where nowadays are located ours.
Our philosophy is to produce wines respecting the nature and traditions and in our products carry the history and flavors of this land.
