Calpazio Greco BIO
The name of this white wine produced by San Salvatore 1988 winery comes from Monte Calpazio, which is a mountain part of the Alburni Mountains - also known as Cilento's Dolomites. Calpazio is obtained from 100% Greco grapes, that are harvested manually in small cassettes. After 10 hours of criomaceration, fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at very low temperature. The wine is finally aged for 6 months on its fine lees.
Calpazio Groco is an ORGANIC wine.
Calpazio by San Salvatore 1988 has of straw yellow colour. The nose shows seductive aromas of ripe yellow fruit, combined with aromatic scents of white and yellow flowers. On the palate, it is fresh and soft, good acidity and minerality. We recommend to serve it at 10 °C.

San Salvatore 1988
Our company was founded in the heart of the Cilento National Park , an ancient land , rich in history and tradition, never touched by intensive agriculture . The winery is located in the same area where the Ancient Greeks began the colonization of Magna Grecia and where for the first time brought Aglianico , Fiano and Greco grapes. Their vineyards were located in the same places where nowadays are located ours.
Our philosophy is to produce wines respecting the nature and traditions and in our products carry the history and flavors of this land.
