Ochetti Langhe DOC Nebbiolo
Ochetti is a red wine from Langhe, produced by the famous Piedmontese winery Renato Ratti and made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes. The first label of this wine is dated 1969. The grapes are harvested 1969 towards the end of September / mid-October and once they arrive at the winery, the winemaking process begins. After destemming and crushing, the grapes ferment at a controlled temperature of 30 °C carrying out 7-10 days of maceration. The wine is aged about 1 year in steel.
Ochetti Langhe DOC has a not very intense ruby red colour. The mainly sandy soil gives this wine great elegance and intense aromas. The bouquet is fine, delicate and expresses hints of red fruits, especially wild strawberries and raspberries. In the mouth it is dry and pleasantly bitter; velvety tannins, light and full at the same time. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C. This wine has an estimated aging capacity of 6-10 years.

Chosen for you
Renato Ratti winery is a representative label of Piedmontese and national enology. Mr. Ratti bought the first vineyard for the production of Barolo in 1965: it was a small vineyard in the historic area of Marcenasco, under the Abbazia dell'Annunziata in La Morra, about halfway up the hill overlooking the main Barolo valley.
