Pagadebit Romagna DOC
Podere La Berta's Pagadebit is made from 100% white Bombino grapes, cultivated in the vineyards owned by the winery in the village of Brisighella. Pagadebit is the wine that most fully embodies the rural identity of Romagna and brings us back into the past. The farming families grew Bombino Bianco, knowing they could count on its hardiness, and used the wine sales to pay off their debts. That is the reason behind the Pagadebit DOC. Fermentation and 5-6 month maturation in steel, followed by at least 1 month of bottle-ageing.
Pale straw yellow colour. Intense and persistent bouquet, which recalls pleasant hints of sweet almond and hawthorn, with a finish of white ripe fruit. Harmonious and dry flavour, rightly sapid and acid, well-balanced structure and persistent aftertaste. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
Podere La Berta's Pagadebit Romagna DOC is a bright and lively white wine, perfect for everyday meals. It pairs well with fish dishes, mussels and scallops au gratin, as well as sushi and sashimi typical of Japanese cuisine. Also try it with fresh summer salads and Romagna piadina flat brad.
