NumeroZero Franciacorta DOCG Dosaggio Zero
Villa Crespia's NumeroZero Franciacorta sparkling wine is the symbol of the winery: since the origin of the Muratori Family and its first harvest, this wine is the bearer of a very precise business choice: that of pas dosé. Muratori Family has always been deeply rooted in the Franciacorta territory, with 23 proprietary vineyards located in each of the 6 vocational units of Franciacorta and each of its wines aims to be a witness and representation of a single vineyard landscape. The vineyards of NeroZero Franciacorta are Caneva, Corte, Crespia, Gazzolo, Pozzolo, Rampaneto, Valli and Villa. The Chardonnay grapes that make up this sparkling wine are vinified according to the Traditional Method in white, with alcoholic fermentation part in steel on selected yeasts at a temperature under 17 °C, and partly in barriques and/or large barrels, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation, performed in part. The wine ages in vats on the lees for 7-8 months and partly in oak for 6-12 months, then refines on the lees in the bottle for at least 30 months.
NumeroZero synthesizes the best espression of Franciacorta Chardonnay in morainic soils. Persistent perlage, richness of fruity and floral notes, with intense aromas and hints of lime, broom, citrus. The richness of the territory is tasted in the glass through an intense complexity of flavours. We suggest serving it at 6-8 °C.
