Palás Barbaresco DOCG
Palás Barbaresco DOCG is produced by Michele Chiarlo winery and it is obtained from 100% Nebbiolo grapes which are grown in the municipalities of Barbaresco and Treiso. After the harvest, the grapes arrive into the cellar for fermentation in steel tanks about 13-14 days, in contact with the skins through the soft wetting system of the "shower cap" and at a temperature between 32 and 27 °C. Malolactic fermentation always takes place in steel, after which the wine obtained is moved into large barrels for a minimum of 2 years, followed by a final refinement in the bottle.
This Barbaresco has a garnet red colour. The nose reveals complex and delicate aromas, characterized by evident notes of red fruits, green pepper and fine spices. In the mouth the taste is ample, aristocratic, of excellent harmony, with a pleasant structure of silky tannins. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18 °C.

Michele Chiarlo: four generations of winemakers in the land of Piedmont, four production areas (Barolo, Barbaresco, Asti and Gavi) for the four historical, traditional Piedmontese vines (Nebbiolo, Barbera, Cortese and Moscato), vinified in four different styles. But the only one is the spirit that has always revealed itself in all the expressions of Chiarlo: from inside the glass to the great events in artistic location, from the family’s work within the company to the worldwide promotional tours, from the culture of books and of the Barolo Caveau to the convivial pleasure
