Zojòsu Cannonau di Sardegna DOC
Zòjosu Cannonau di Sardegna DOC is a Sardinian red wine produced by Masone Mannu winery and made from 100% Cannonau grapes, grown in the area of Su Canale, nearby Monti, in the province of Sassari. Cannonau is a variety that usually ripen late and, for this reason, the manual harvest for Zòjosu begins at the end of September / first half of October. The grapes that arrive to the cellar to be destemmed, ready for alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel, with maceration on the skins of about 12 days, without malolactic fermentation. The wine is always refined in steel for about 6 months and another 6 months in bottle before release.
Zòjosu is a well-structured red wine with great personality, as the intense ruby red garnet colour highlights. Elegant and concentrated on the nose, it recalls ripe red fruits, plum jam and fine balsamic and resin notes typical of the Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth body is full and density thickens, thanks to an important tannic structure that enchants the sip. Finely savoury on the finish. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.

Chosen for you
Masone Mannu is one of the most important wineries in Gallura, located a few kilometers from Olbia (Sardinia), immersed in an extraordinary landscape of cork oaks, rivers, lakes and woods of Mediterranean scrub. The ancient Logudorese name "Masone Mannu" means "great property", which in fact extends over almost 100 hectares, of which about 20 are planted with specialized vineyards. It is a fairly young company, but it has immediately shown an excellent qualitative path.
