Cabernet Sauvignon Collio DOC Marco Felluga
Marco Felluga's Collio DOC Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, grown in the villages of San Floriano and Cormòns, both in the Collio DOC area. After destemming, the grapes underwent maceration in large stainless steel vats, and were delicately pressed to maintain their varietal flavors and aromas. The wine is aged in large and small oak casks for twelve months. After bottling, the wine aged in the cellar for approximately six months.
This Cabernet Sauvignon has a deep, ruby-red colour with lively red highlights. The nose is elegant and complex with red berries and hints of cocoa and walnuts in the finish. The wine’s nose gives a hint of the berry flavors in this wellstructured but soft, well-balanced wine. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
We suggest to pair Marco Felluga's Cabernet Sauvignon in combination with grilled meats, savory and tasty dishes, game and medium-aged cheeses.
Chosen for you
More than a century has passed, since the first Felluga crossed his history with wine. The island of Istria was the place of origin of Malvasia and Refosco d'Istria productions. Just after the Great War, the family get to the other side of the gulf, to Grado and then in Friuli.
