Franciacorta DOCG Rosè Brut Millesimato
Franciacorta DOCG Rosè Brut Millesimato produced by Le Marchesine winery is obtained from clonal selections of Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes, grown in the vineyards of Paderno, in Franciacorta.
Its delicate colour is due to submerged cap fermentation of the grape skins. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with indigenous yeasts, then on March and April, the second fermentation occurs. Bottles are racked for at least 36 months with remuage and dégorgement before being on the market.
It has a gentle pink onion skin colour. White foam, very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose you perceive an intense bouquet of flowers, including wild rose and small red berries, such as raspberry, redcurrant and blueberry. In the mouth the aromas are more complex, while the taste is dry, gentle, soft and crisp. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 6-8 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
Le Marchesine Franciacorta DOCG Rosè Brut Millesimato is a very feminine and elegant sparkling rosé, to be paired with cured meats and cheeses, even the most aged cheeses, in addition to tasty dishes. It enhances its structure in combination with shellfish.
