Botrosecco Le Mortelle
Botrosecco wine of Le Mortelle (Antinori's family) winery is a big red made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Cabernet Franc. After stainless steel fermentation, the wine matures into barrels for about 12 months, then in bottle for a few months.
Botrossecco has a deep red colour. At the nose you perceive hints of chocolate and cherry. The aroma is rich and complex, dominated by berries that are combined with notes of flowers and eucalyptus. On the palate, the wine is soft and wide, with a vibrant finale pleasant freshness given by the Cabernet Franc. Also in the aftertaste, you can taste fruity aromas with light notes of fresh tobacco and mint. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18-20 °C.

Chosen for you
The Antinori family has been involved in the production of wine for over six centuries, ever since, in 1385, Giovanni di Piero Antinori entered as a member, the “Arte Fiorentina”, the Winemakers’ Guild of the city of Florence. During this entire long period, thorough twenty six generations, the family has always directly managed this work with courageous and, at times, innovative decisions, but always maintaining, unaltered, a fundamental respect for tradition and for the territory in which they have operated.
