Giambattista Valli Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG is a Sicilian red wine of remarkable personality, obtained from Frappato and Nero d'Avola grapes. Produced by Feudi Del Pisciotto winery, which is part of Domini Castellare di Castellina estates, thi wine was the first Cerasuolo di Vittoria to be awarded Gambero Rosso's Tre Bicchieri and it is part of the Italian Fashion Top Designers Wine Collection the producer has dedicated to the greatest Italian stylists, to favour every year the restoration of charity works for Sicily. The harvest of Frappato and Nero d'Avola grapes takes place during the last week of September, followed by the wine-making process in steel tanks and the aging in barriques for 10 months. The wine completes its refinement in the bottle for a periodo of about 12 months.
Giambattista Valli Cerasuolo di Vittoria has a deep cherry red colour, with a very intense and persistent bouquet, recalling the ripe pomegranate. In the mouth it is very warm and full-bodied. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
