Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Borgogno
The Dolcetto d'Alba made by Fratelli Serio & Battista Borgogno comes from a quality selection of Dolcetto grapes cuttivated in Liste vineyard, located in Barolo. It's a red refined wine left to mature in the traditional manner, with 6-8 days of maceration in wooden barrels with frequent pumping over and malolactic fermentation in steel and ageing in steel.
Scented and elegant, the wine has an intense ruby red colour and expresses fruity notes of cherry, cranberry and mint on the nose. The olfactory profile is pleasant and fresh, well-balanced, characterized by an acidity that outlines the stretch up to a close with good persistence. We recommend serving at a temperature of 18-20 °C.
