Franciacorta DOCG Brut BIO Santa Lucia
Santa Lucia's Franciacorta DOCG Brut is Traditional Method sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes and a small percentage of Pinot Bianco coming from 15 different vineyards with an average age of 10 years, located on seven municipalities in Franciacorta. After manual harvesting, soft pressing and fermentation are carried out in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 °C. The grapes are vinified separately and as the obtained wines are ready, they are assembled together to create this Cuvée. The aging on the yeasts in the bottle is carried out for a minimum period of 24 months at a constant temperature of 12-15 °C.
Straw yellow colour and fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it is floral and delicately fruity with notes of bread crust, typical of the aging on the lees in the bottle. Balanced taste, with good persistence and elegance. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.
