Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato Ronco Calino
Ronco Calino's Franciacorta DOCG Brut Millesimato is obtained from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested by hand in the second decade of August, with careful selection of the bunches before soft pressing. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 15-16 °C. Half part of Chardonnay grapes ferments in French oak barrels (new barrels for 30%). The second fermentation is carried out through the Metodo Classico dictate and the wine completes its aging on the lees for at least 50 months before disgorgement.
Pale straw yellow colour; fine, continuous and persistent perlage, characterized by a delicate and creamy foam. On the nose this sparkling wine has a ripe and complex bouquet: tropical aromas of fresh fruit, such as pineapple and mango, with a slight hint of apple, pear and raspberry. Light floral and herbaceous notes of jasmine, honeysuckle and linden blend together with light aromas of liquorice, lightly toasted hazelnut, vanilla and linden honey. On the palate it is of great structure and freshness; it is creamy, long and persistent with a pleasant, dry and savory finish. The aftertaste reflects the characteristics perceived on the nose. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

In 1996 Paolo Radici, an industrialist from Bergamo who is in love with wine, decided to buy Torbiato di Andro Villa of the famous pianist Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli and at the foot of the villa he built Ronco Calino winery in 2000. All around the landscape is adorned by over 10 hectares of vineyard, in a spectacular moraine amphitheater.
