Teroldego Rotaliano DOC
Teroldego is a native grape from Trentino, whose name probably derives from the German "Tiroler-Gold", or "gold of Tyrol". Not surprisingly, it is also called "Prince" of Trentino wines. Endrizzi's Teroldego is made from grapes cultivated in the Teroldego DOC area of Mezzocorona and Mezzolombardo, which are harvested by hand and left to ferment in steel and oak barrels at a controlled temperature. Aging takes place in large oak barrels for about 1 year.
It has an intense ruby red colour. Pleasantly fruity parfumes, recalling blackberries and raspberries. Soft, enveloping and persistent tasting. We suggest serving it at 16-18 °C. It can age up to 3 years.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
Thanks to a soft and harmonious tannic texture, Endrizzi's Teroldego Rotaliano can be paired with many dishes, such as pasta, both red and white meat or cheese.
