Stèfen 1624 è un Refrontolo DOCG prodotto dalla cantina De Stefani ed ottenuto da uve 100% Marzemino, coltivate nell'omonimo vigneto "Stèfen 1624" situato nel podere Colvendrame, a Refrontolo, sulle colline fra Conegliano e Valdobbiadene. Stèfen è l'antico cognome della famiglia De Stefani, come risulta da vecchi documenti del 1624 ritrovati a Refrontolo. Da qui il nome del vino.
Le uve sono vendemmiate a fine settembre - inizio ottobre, una volta raggiunta la loro ottimale maturazione. Dopo una scrupolosa cernita, vengono lasciate ad appassire. Sue la diraspa-pigiatura, con la selezine degli acini migliori, messi poi in fermentazione. La fermentazione continua lentamente e il mosto-vino si arricchisce del patrimonio aromatico delle bucce. Quindi si effettua la svinatura e la fermentazione continua in barrique, dove il vino rimane ad affinarsi per 36 mesi circa, per poi affinarsi ulteriori 18 mesi in bottiglia. 


Stèfen 1624 si presenta di colore rosso rubino estremamente carico, dai riflessi granata. Profumo intenso ed avvolgente di frutti di bosco maturi e di viola, gusto pieno, di marasca e mora mature. Suggeriamo di servirlo ad una temperatura di 16-18 °C. La sua struttura e completezza gli permettono di migliorare durante la maturazione in bottiglia, che può protrarsi fino a 50 anni, raggiungendo il suo picco qualitativo dopo 20-25 anni dalla vendemmia. 


Stèfen 1624 Refrontolo DOCG di De Stefani è un vino rosso veneto che si abbina con raffinatezza a selvaggina, carni allo spiedo e formaggi stagionati. Ideale anche come vino da meditazione.

De Stefani

The De Stefani family originates in Refrontolo, a little hilly village in Veneto Italy, as results in official documents of 1624. In the second half of 1800 Valeriano De Stefani, the founder, individualized the best soil where to produce wines with rare personality in the Colvendrame estate in Refrontolo, on the hills between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, north of Venice.
His son Valeriano, second generation, inspired by his careful wife Angelina, began the tradition which the De Stefanis have always adhered: total devotion to quality with no compromise.
