Tenuta Presti e Pegni Monreale di proprietà della cantina Cusumano a 250 m sul livello del mare, esposizione al sole dall’alba al tramonto, terreno argilloso e compatto: questo è lo scenario meraviglioso dove nasce il Noà. Le uve di Nero d’Avola 40%, Merlot 30%, Cabernet Sauvignon 30% vengono vendemmiate a mano nella prima decade di settembre. Vinificazione, diraspatura e fermentazione a temperatura controllata 28-30 °C per 10-15 giorni; malolattica in carati di rovere e affinamento negli stessi per 12 mesi e successivo affinamento in bottiglia prima della commercializzazione.


Il nome di "Noà" di Cusumano si ispira a "Noé", primo produttore di vino sulla terra. Si presenta vestito di un bel colore rosso rubino, profondo e suadente. Al naso ci propone un sentore complesso e intrigante, dove ben si amalgamano sensazioni di ciliegia e mora, amarena anche sotto spirito, leggere note di fichi e di spezie dolci. In bocca esplode in tutta la sua ricchezza, caldo e avvolgente, morbido al palato. È un vino speciale, pronto per essere bevuto all’istante oppure se lasciato invecchiare in cantina, al buio, per almeno altri 4 anni, potrete scoprire gradevoli sorprese. Suggeriamo di servirlo ad una temperatura di 18-20 °C.


Noà Sicilia DOC è un vino rosso siciliano adatto all'abbinamento con grandi arrosti, stinco di maiale e agnello. Ottimo anche con primi piatti complessi e dalla lunga preparazione, ben conditi anche con erbe di campagna selvatiche. Dopo un lungo riposo, se bevuto dopo qualche tempo, può essere un ottimo compagno di formaggi stagionati e dal sapore spiccato.

The brothers Alberto and Diego Cusumano, with the precious contribute of the winemaker Mario Ronco, create in the 2001, a symbol of dynamism and innovation of the Sicilian oenology, still too tied to tradition and historical stereotypes. Today the family owns 519 hectares of vineyards located in areas of Sicily deeply different between them: Ficuzza (189 hectares), in Piana degli Albanesi in the province of Palermo is a unique part of Sicily, set at an altitude of 700/800 meters above sea level behind a woodland reserve, it enjoys a cool but sunny microclimate.
