Gerardo Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Rive di Santo Stefano Brut Millesimato is the Prosecco that Le Colture winery dedicates to "grandfather Gerardo Ruggeri", who took care with passion of his "Rive", that is to say of his vineyards located in the most steep lands of the estate. The Glera grapes that make up this sparkling wine are harvested from mid-September to mid-October. After soft pressing, the must ferments in the absence of skins at a controlled temperature. The second fermentation takes place with the Charmat Method through fermentation in autoclave under at controlled temperatures.
This Prosecco di Valdobbiadene has a straw yellow colour, typical of the variety. The aromas are rich in hints of citrus and fresh hebal essences on a pleasant background of yeast. In the mouth we can see a beautiful lively flavours energy. The fine perlage ensures the persistence of taste and cleanliness of the palate. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 7-9°C.
