Bottega Vinai Marzemino Trentino DOC
Marzemino is a grape variety that represents the banner of Trentino oenology and is typical of Vallagarina. It owes its fame to Mozart, who in his Don Giovanni (opera K527 by Mozart) praises "the excellent Marzemino", then sweet and persuasive, as the troops of the Serenissima Republic of Venice had appreciated, while today it is preferred dry, but always kind: a fair compromise between the fragrant young wines and the more traditional austere ones. It is vinified in red with a week of maceration in steel tanks. To maintain the typical floral characteristics of the variety it is aged in steel for 6 months, after which it is bottled and left to refine in the bottle for another four months before being marketed.
It has an intense and brilliant ruby red colour, with purple hues that tend to fade with aging. The scent has intense hints of violet and ripe cherry, with subtle spicy notes of licorice; the moderate acidity, in addition to the balanced tannins, make this wine particularly harmonious and round. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.

Chosen for you
The characteristics of Trentino region make it an absolutely unique part of the Italian peninsula: the region is relatively small and is the ideal combination of microclimates and terrains which are very different but which co-exist in perfect harmony. And these differences are at the heart of the region's rich and varied wine production.
