Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC BIO Cataldi Madonna
Cataldi Madonna's Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC is a white wine which is produced from Trebbiano grapes cultivated in Mandrella and Frontone municipalities (Abruzzo). This area is particularly vocated for winemaking, thanks to the excellent exposure and significant temperature range. The wine ferments in steel at a controlled temperature of 15-18 °C, remaining in contact with fine lees for a few months, with periodic bâtonnages.
Straw-yellow colour. Exuberant and fruity parfumes, combined with a fresh varietal acidity. Fresh falvour, thanks to its fragrance and long aromatic persistence. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 10-12 °C.

Until the beginning of the 90s, the company Cataldi Madonna was the only one to occupy the whole vineyards of Ofena. Today the Company is made of 31,4 hectares (exclusively cultivated with local and traditional vines like Montepulciano, Pecorino and Trebbiano), all located in the municipality of Ofena between 320 and 440 meters above sea level. In the country, the target is not the yield, but the plant balance, to obtain the best expression of the territory features.
