Tintilia S Molise DOC
Features
Description
Tintilia S is a red wine from Molise produced by Catabbo winery and obtained only from 100% Tintilia grapes, grown in San Martino in Pensilis. The harvest is usually carried out manually in the first decade of October. The grapes ferment in steel at a temperature of 25-28 °C for about 15-20 days. The wine obtained ages in steel before being bottled.
TASTING NOTES
In the glass it has an impenetrable ruby red-colour, with a pale purple hues. The nose is initially shy even though it reveals distinctly red berries combined with nutmeg. Allowing it to rest for a while, the oxygen will make it more available to the contact: this wine gives us a mint, and a balsa wood to appreciate slowly, surrounded by violet petals. To the mouth softness and warmth lie at every corner of the palate, showing a well-directed tannin combined with a fair dose of freshness. We suggest serving it at 17-18 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS

Catabbo
The Catabbo company was born in 1990, when Vincenzo Catabbo succeeds in realizing his dream of dedicating himself to viticulture and the production of wine. In this way, with passion and innovated knowledge he starts planting vines, all in rigorous rows. In the year 2004, thanks to the predisposition of his three children, Sara, Carla and Pasquale, he decided to make a change in his company, by creating a modern cellar for the wine making of his own grapes, taking particular care of the enhancement of wines' quality.
