Anthea Falanghina Salento IGT
Anthea is a white wine obtained from selected Falanghina grapes of Cantine Due Palme wineery, that are harvested in the first decade of September. Once dirasped and crushed, they are subjected to cryomaceration at 4 °C for 24 hours. It follows alcoholic fermentation of about 10 days, at a controlled temperature of 15 °C.
The nose is elegant white from Apulia. It shows a straw in colour with crisp fresh fruit character and delicate aromas of grapefruit and peach. Fresh and well balanced, with a lovely acidity. Beautiful flavour. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
The wine Anthea of Cantine Due Palme winery is excellent as aperitif and with “carpaccio” or marinated raw fish. Pleasant with vegetable soups, it pairs well also with fresh cheese and fried food.
