Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC Valle Isarco
Sauvignon grape is a native of France, was introduced in South Tyrol about 100 years ago, but it is only a few years that it is grown in Isarco Valley. The warm soils, rich in porphyry, facing south-east and sheltered from the cold of the lower Isarco Valley, give this wine the characteristics that have made it one of the noblest white wines of this region. Catina Valle Isarco's Sauvignon is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc grapes, delicately pressed and crushed, before fermenting under controlled temperature. The wine ages on noble lees in stainless steel tanks, without malolactic fermentation.
Greenish-yellow colour. Intense aromas, with hints of nettle and black currant. Dry, round, typical flavour. It can age up to 3-5 years from harvest if well preserved. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

Cantina Valle Isarco - Eisacktaler Kellerei
Cantina Valle Isarco is synonymous with excellent white wines from Alto Adige. Although it is the youngest winemaking cooperative in South Tyrol, built in an area traditionally dedicated to viticulture, Cantina Valle Isarco has gained great fame both in Italy and abroad for its fine white wines. The first location was established in 1961 in the historic cellar of Maso Reinthalerhof with Anton Gfader, owner and chosen as the first director by the 24 founders.
