LaLùci Grillo Sicilia DOC
"That which is forgotten is as though it never come to pass. All that exists is reminiscence - Lalùci - light that unveils and reveals. The primordial concept. The archetype. It is as it should be. The Grillo of Baglio del Cristo di Campobello".
LaLùci Grillo Sicilia DOC is a Sicilian white wine made from 100% Grillo grapes, cultivated in Sicily nearby Agrigento by Baglio del Cristo di Campobello winery. Harvesting takes place between the last decade of August and the first of September and it is manual, in small crates. After de-stimming and crushing, fermentation is carried out at 8-10 °C. A gentle pressing follows, after which the free-run must is separated and decanted through the process of natural sedimentation at low temperature. It follows a period of aging for about 4 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks and at least 3 months in bottle.
This wine has high-intensity and great aromatic persistence. It fills the glass of yellow and white flowers, fruity notes of peach, yellow apple and citrus, as well as mineral scents of sea water and fresh almonds. Sharp and long-lasting in the mouth. It mixes fruits and floral aromas, together with delicate citrus and aromatic herbs scents. On the palate, it maintains a great tasting tension. Freshness almost refreshing and very persistent flavour, rich in aromatic contrasts. It is a wonderful white wine, so fascinating! We suggest to serve it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

Immaculate Bonetta’s vineyards.
They are found all around the wonderful Baglio, on the low hills of limestone/gypsum in this portion of Campobello (Licata), where the Mediterranean refreshing breeze comes in the evening, precisely from the side facing Licata.
Grillo, Inzolia and Chardonnay are the white grapes that characteze great wines, such as Adènzia Bianco, Lalùci and Laudàri; while Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the red grapes that give life to Lusirà and Lu Patri.
