Chardonnay Friuli Colli Orientali DOC Arzenton
Arzenton's Chardonnay is a monovarietal wine from the Collio Orientali del Friuli DOC area. The grapes are carefully harvested and selected by hand, subjected to soft pressing with great care, in order to avoid oxidative damages that would otherwise threaten the aromatic profile. After malolactic fermentation at low temperatures, the grapes are subjected to alcoholic fermentation and the obtained wine is decanted and aged in steel tanks on its lees, for a period of about 7 months.
Intense straw yellow colour, with golden undertones. Arzenton's Chardonnay opens to the nose expressing tropical fruit fragrances, combined with floral hints of broom, yellow flowers and acacia, grapefruit zest, hazelnut, on a chalky background. In the mouth it is pulpy and full-bodied, soft, lean and balanced. We suggest serving it at 10-12 °C.
