Cabernet Sauvignon Friuli Colli Orientali DOC
Arzenton's Cabernet Sauvignon is obtained from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and selected by hand in the vineyard during the harvest. The must ferments in concrete tanks with delastage every 2 days, in order to completely separate the must from the grapes and alcoholic fermentation follows the malolactic one. The wine is then poured into other concrete tanks, to refine for at least 2 years, followed by a further ageing in the bottle for at least 6 months.
Intense ruby red colour. Fruity and spicy aromas: red currants, licorice, pepper, followed by more herbal and mineral notes in the background, such as pepper and graphite. In the mouth the sip is ample, well-balanced by fresh and flowing vein that underlines a lively taste, closing fruity with a slightly almond note. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 18 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
Cabernet Sauvignon by Arzenton is an excellent red wine to combine with roast chicken and white meats in general, as well as aged cheeses.
