Arteus Venezia Giulia IGT
Arteus is a white wine produced by the Friulian winery La Viarte and comes from the blend of three grapes: 40% Riesling renano, 40% Chardonnay, 20% Tocai friulano. The vinification takes place separately and only afterwards the various parts are assembled. After soft pressing, the major part of the must ferments in steel at 16 °C, while a small percentage is instead left to ferment in barriques. The wine matures for 7 months on fine lees in steel tanks and barriques, followed by at least 1 month of aging in bottle.
Arteus has a straw yellow colour. The aroma ranges from ripe fruit, candied fruit, dried flowers and a slight hint of lemon cream. Dry flavour, mellow and persistent. In general, it is a creamy and complex white wine. It has a strong character and rich body, combined with a pleasant acidity. We suggest serving it at 10-12 °C.

Arteus by La Viarte is with shellfish and seafood. It gives great satisfaction even if tasted with first courses of fresh egg pasta, baked fatty fish or in sauce, white meats in pork, fat cheeses and great cured meats. Intriguing with spicy dishes, typical of ethnic cuisine.
