Pentro DOC is an excellent red wine from Molise, obtained from Montepulciano and Sangiovese with the recent introduction of the native Tintilia grape variety. It bears the name of the territory it belongs to, the Sannio Pentro, whose organoleptic characteristics and intensity are at the most of the character. Bottled for the first time in 2007, Pentro is now a cult wine that promotes and enhances an ancient and extraordinary area of the Italian wine production. Maturation 24 months in oak barrels and 12 months in bottle before being on the market.
Pentro has a deep ruby red colour. The aroma is complex with hints of red berries. Mellow, balsamic resins and scented eucalyptus stands. The taste trails hints of coffee and wood. Powerful tannis and structured body.
