Description

The Traditional Method sparkling wine 16 48 is a tribute to Angoris winery and its history. Obtained from the finest Chardonnay grapes, it is produced in the Brut style.
After a careful manual harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed and immediately cooled, placed in cryomaceration to extract all the typical olfactory characteristics. After pressing, the must ferments at controlled temperature, then ages on fine yeasts for about 6 months. After bottling, this sparkling wine rests another 30 months in stack, and then placed on pupitres the next 3 months, before disgorging.

TASTING NOTES

It is straw-yellow in colour. On the nose you can easily perceive white fruits notes, delicate and slightly mineral floral aromas, with bread crust flavour in the background. In the mouth it is dry, with a subtle and pleasant perlage. The freshness and sapidity characterize its sip. Good acidity and persistence on the finish. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 4-6 °C.

16 48 Metodo Classico by Angoris is a great sparkling wine combined with raw fish, from tartare to carpaccios, oysters and prawns, as well as grilled fish.
