Altemasi Trentodoc Brut Millesimato Magnum
Produced using the Trento D.O.C. metodo classico with second fermentation in the bottle, starting with selected cuvées made exclusively from white grapes from the vineyards in Trentino most ideally suited to producing sparkling wines (the hills around Trento, the Valle dei Laghi valley and Brentonico plateau). The grapes are harvested in small cases and vinified in stainless steel as well as barriques using the method for white wine at controlled temperatures, in the spring following the harvest, the second fermentation is carried out in the bottle with the lees remaining in contact with the wine for 36-48 months. During disgorging only a minimum dosage of liqueur d’expedition is used.
Creamy foam and persistent perlage. Golden colour with slight greenish tinges. Very refined, complex nose, with hints of honey, ripe apple and hazelnut. Full, elegant, and well-structured palate. We suggest to serve it at 10 °C.

The Altemasi Trentodoc is the top line of Cavit sparkling wines. They are among Italy's finest sparkling wines, exalting in the characteristics of Trentino, a long-established wine-growing area particularly renowned for its sparkling wines, and a perfect combination of a variety of different microclimates and environmental conditions. It is an area that is able to produce basic wines of great quality thanks to the wide distribution of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines in hills between 450 and 600 meters above sea level.
