La Groletta Valpolicella Ripasso DOC is an intriguing Valpolicella Ripasso, obtained from Corvina Veronese 70%and Rondinella 30% grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, while the second on the skins, takes place in February. During this period periodical pumping over is carried out. Finally, the wine ages 4 months in steel, 11 months in Slavonian oak barrels and at least 2 months in the bottle.
La Groletta shows a beautiful ruby-red colour. On the nose you preceive sweet notes of red fruit, that blend together with honts of spices and delicatel herbs. In the mouth it is full and well-bodied, thanks to an excellent structure. The sip is harmonious and tannins are soft. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
