Zenato

75 hectares in the best areas of Lugana and Valpolicella. Two faces: one white, the other red, both representative of quality wines that are born from the passion for the land and its history, from the respect of time, from a family tradition for 50 years enhances the local varieties.
These are the characteristics of the Zenato Winery, located in San Benedetto di Lugana, about 25 km west of Verona. In a landscape graced by moraine hills and mild climate, the founder Sergio Zenato and his wife Carla have turned the native grape, Trebbiano di Lugana, into a great white, Lugana. The finest grapes, harvested from the vineyards of the historic farm Masons, at Santa Cristina, have given birth to labels such as Lugana Reserve Sergio Zenato and Lugana Santa Cristina, awarded by international awards.
Over the years Zenato has extended its horizons and interests in the Valpolicella area: here in the Costalunga estate, 35 hectares of land at 300 meters above sea level, the Corvina and the Rondinella, varieties are at base of a wine of great tradition and reputation: Amarone. An area from the unique features, the result of which are wines of great character and aromas such as the Ripassa, a Valpolicella Superiore DOC born from the best selection of Valpolicella, "brush up" on the Amarone skins.
Zenato is now represented by his children, who consolidated and expanded the resonance of the project: Alberto lends his care to the product, from the vineyard to the bottle, and Nadia devotes her attention to the development of markets.
