Villa Sandi

Villa Sandi is a splendid Palladian-style villa dating back to 1622, nowadays the headquarters of Villa Sandi winery.
Devoted to wine culture for many generations, the Moretti Polegato family, owner of the Villa, have fostered this ancient tradition by making Villa Sandi the headquarters of the winery, and by promoting grape growing in the area on a modern basis. Giancarlo Moretti Polegato, who is very fond and knowledgeable of the wine world, is very proud to carry on the family tradition.
Villa Sandi is located in a renowned winemaking area at the foot of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG hills and represents the link between the magnificence of Venice and its countryside, the area known as “Garden of Venice”.
Villa Sandi is one of the leading producers in the Prosecco area and devotes the utmost care and attention to its quality that is recognized and rewarded worldwide like Tre Bicchieri Gambero Rosso for five times in a row to Cartizze Vigna La Rivetta Brut which has also been selected as Cru representing the Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG area in the Grandi Cru d’Italia.
Villa Sandi also produces a complete selection of white and red still wines and a Traditional Method collection called Opere Trevigiane. The three century-old underground cellars stretch for over 1,5 km under the villa and create the perfect environment for wine aging.
