Santa Lucia winery is a little paradise in Franciacorta, where nature and architecture mix with great balance, according to the fradition of Franciacorta territory. The production site is located in the beautiful village of Erbusco, in the architectural complex around Longhi Palace. The palace was built in the 17th century on an existing building structure dating back to the 14th century. The pride of Santa Lucia winery is the vineyards: 30 hectares that stretches along Erbusco, the heart of the wine-growing region, Rodengo Saiano, Capriolo, Passirano and Rovato; among these there are some "jewel vineyards", the few exclusive Franciacorta vineyards as framed by stone walls. The flourishing nature shows its richness through fine aromas and elegant results, thanks to the help of its terroir and a particularly favourable microclimate.
Santa Lucia, opened in the late 1990s, was the result of combining the experience in the research field and wine industry consulting. This is what Pierluigi Villa, his wife Ardenia and their sons Gregorio (enologist) and Maurizio (university student), have been and keep on doing. Santa Lucia is conducted according to the organic farming method and 2014 was the first certified harvest. The biological management guarantees respect for the environment and favors the expression of all synergies already present in nature, respecting its slow times and the best choices. This leads to the production of elegant and balanced wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco grapes, to be shared with friends and to rediscover the link with the land. Each label is distinguished by style and elegance, leaving in those who experience a different emotion every time.
