Piccini is one of the largest wine company in Tuscany and its wines are distributed in over 80 countries worldwide. The enological history of the Piccini Family began in 1882 with Angiolo Piccini and a small winery of only 7 hectares in Castellina in Chianti and it boasts 4 generations for which wine is a real passion. Mario, Martina and Elisa Piccini, the fourth generation of the Family leading the company, are committed to the development and enhancement of this great winemaking tradition, transmitting their passion with a constant look to the future and through a dynamic and innovative approach in an international contest, recognized all over the world through the typical orange color of the brand. Chianti Orange is by now the iconic Piccini wine and it symbolizes the values of a modern, energetic and enthusiastic company.
Piccini today has 5 different estates in Italy: Fattoria di Valiano, a beautiful estate in Chianti Classico near the town of Castelnuovo Berardenga with over 230 hectares of land of which 70 are cultivated with traditional and international vines such as Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay; Tenuta Moraia in the coastal area of the Tuscan Maremma, where the native Vermentino and Sangiovese grapes are planted, next to Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay; Villa al Cortile located south of Brunello di Montalino production area, between Montosoli and Lavacchio municipalities; Regio Cantina, in Basilicata, specialized in the production of Aglianico del Vulture and Torre Mora, on Mount Etna, dedicated to the production of volcanic wines from Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes.
