Campo alle Comete

Campo alle Comete winery is the Tuscan outpost of Feudi di San Gregorio in Bolgheri area. Born from the will of a challenge with Bolgheri historic territory and the high quality products of this land, Campo alle Comete's objective consists in a valid contribution to Bolgheri wine production, thanks to the values ​​and the winemaking experience built over the years from the Campania group.

Campo alle Comete is located in the heart of Livorno Maremma, in Castagneto Carducci, not far from Tyrrhenian Sea, covering 15 hectares of vineyards. Its position, together with climatic conditions and the rich soils of this area give Tuscan wines with a gentle but intense character. The production is closely linked to the typical Bolgheri grape varieties and wines: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, which are matured in barriques, over 100 barrels and 30 tonneaux that rest in the cellar. Campo alle Comete also produces an excellent white wine from Vermentino grapes, which has a unique varietal expression  in this area.

The name "Campo alle Comete" evokes the very soul of the place: a fantastic world immersed between sky and earth, in which exploring the essence of winemaking, with an eye to sky and guided by the stars. A clear reference to the magic of an enchanting place full of emotions like this "wine observatory". This winemaking project conveys not only a great tradition, but also focuses attention on the evocation of imagination and poetic languages behind every single wine, able to amaze with memorable tastes and perfumes.
