Sabbia Vermentino di Sardegna DOC
Sabbia Vermentino di Sardegna DOC is a Sardinian white wine produced by Viticoltori Romangia cooperative and made from 100% Vermentino grapes grown in Romangia, in north-western Sardinia around the municipalities of Sorso and Sennori. The vineyards are located close to the sea, right in front of the Asinara Gulf and the grapes are carefully selected before the winemaking process. After a series of samples to define the ideal moment of grape maturation, the harvest is carried out by hand. After crushing and destemming, the grapes are softly pressed and fermented at a temperature of about 18 °C in steel.
Sabbia Vermentino has a straw yellow colour with greenish undertones. Smells of flowers, Mediterranean herbs and tropical fruits. In draft it expresses a good sapidity thanks to mineral notes that refresh the sip. Persistent finish. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

Chosen for you
Viticoltori Romangia is a cooperative company founded in 1996 in Sardinia, to collect and revive the winemakers of Romangia, especially around Sorso and Sennori municipalities (north-west of Sassari). Romangia is an area particularly suited for viticulture and its name originates from the word "Romània", with which the Romans defined the conquered territories, while all the others were called "Barbària" (from which the current "Barbargia" originates).
