Gran Cuvée Blanc de Noir Oltrepò Pavese Metodo Classico DOCG Brut
Gran Cuvée Blanc de Noir Oltrepò Pavese Classic Method DOCG Brut is a very elegant sparkling wine, produced by Travaglino winery and obtained exclusively from Pinot Nero grapes, mainly from the Vigna Del Portico vineyard. The grapes are vinified in white, with soft pressing and fermentation at 18 °C in steel. The draw is performed in the May following the harvest, assembling the best base wines and reserve wines. The wine completes its aging in the bottle on the lees for at least another 42 months.
This Classic Method Pinot Noir acquires complexity and persistence with each vintage, thanks to the assembly of grapes destined for reserves. It has a straw-yellow colour, fine and persistent perlage. Characteristic hints of bread crust and dried fruit. In the mouth it is fresh and particularly sapid. Very clean and beautiful verticality. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 8-10 °C.

Chosen for you
Travaglino is the oldest winery of the Oltrepò Pavese area, which today cultivates over 80 hectares of vineyards immersed in a rural and wooded landscape of pristine beauty. Travaglino is located in a magic line, a fertile and vital strip of land in Calvignano, in the suitable vineyards of the hills above. Travaglino is a meaningful name: it orginates from the Piedmontese "travaj" word (work) and it also indicates a particular variety of grapes.
