Merlot Alto Adige DOC Tramin
Merlot grapes for this amazing red wine by Tramin winery come from vineyards that extend on mountain hills, at an altitude between 250 and 400 m above sea level, on limestone soils of clayey and gravel shape, subjected to strong thermal excursions. The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in small containers that keep it intact. Afer destimming, grapes are fermented at controlled temperature (28 °C) in small steel containers where malolactic fermentation occurs. Aging in oak barrels of varying capacities and partially in concrete tanks for at least 6 months.
Intense ruby red colour, spicy scent and red fruit notes. Full-bodied, with fruity scents in the background that support velvety and very elegant tannins. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.

Tramin's Merlot is the ideal red wine paired with red meat and game. It is also perfect with aged and spicy cheeses, spicy sauces, brine or grilled vegetables.
