Cladrecis Bianco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC
"Cladrecis" is the name of an ancient village nearby Prepotto village, a magical place from which the project of restoration of ancient vineyards by the brothers Pierpaolo and Luca Sirch begins. We are on the border of the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, where the windy microclimate offers definite temperature ranges and the land is marly. The hilly vineyards, set among secular woods, draw landscapes of a simple, silent and singular beauty. The Cladrecis wines are real Cru, with a strong territorial imprint. Cladrecis Bianco by Sirch winery is a Friulian wine made from a fine blend of grapes: Friulano, Riesling, Pinot Bianco. The wine ferments in steel for about 2-3 weeks and ages in steel for a period of 12 months, concluding the refinement in the bottle for about 3 months.
Cladrecis Bianco has a bright straw-yellow colour. The nose is perceived a fine fruity and varietal scent with notes of ripe pear and apple, fresh almond, citrus and apricot. Sapid and pleasantly balanced, rather long in the finish, with mineral hints. It closes tasty and refined. We suggest serving it at 10-12 °C.
Cladrecis Bianco Friuli Colli Orientali DOC by Sirch is a Friulian white wine ideal as an aperitif, perfect with savory raw ham and traditional Friulian dishes, such as "frico". Spring dishes with herbs, such as omelettes, risottos and soups. Appetizers and first courses of delicate fish or second courses of steamed fish.
