Pian Di Stio Fiano del Cilento BIO
Pian di Stio wine is produced from 100% Fiano grapes, cultivated by San Salvatore 1988. The vineyard is located 550 m above sea level in Stio, in the Cilento National Park. The vineyard is placed at 550 meters above sea level, in the municipality of Stio, in the Cilento National Park. The harvest is made by hand in small plastic boxes. The grapes are crushed and de-stemmed, then brought to 4 °C for a criomaceration of 6 hour. After fermetation at low-temperature in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for 6 months on its fine lees. This Fiano is ORGANIC.
This Fiano is almost transparent with greenish colour. Unlike the first impression of pale colour, the nose is rich in aromatic notes, exuberant and rich in floral, fine and elegant shades, including jasmine and broom scents. In the background, there are citrus notes, that melt together with a pleasant aftertaste of chamomile. In the mouth it is mineral, but very delicate. A wine of great finesse and strong personality. We recommend serving it at a temperature of 10 °C.

San Salvatore 1988
Our company was founded in the heart of the Cilento National Park , an ancient land , rich in history and tradition, never touched by intensive agriculture . The winery is located in the same area where the Ancient Greeks began the colonization of Magna Grecia and where for the first time brought Aglianico , Fiano and Greco grapes. Their vineyards were located in the same places where nowadays are located ours.
Our philosophy is to produce wines respecting the nature and traditions and in our products carry the history and flavors of this land.
