Lèant Curtefranca Bianco DOC BIO
"Lèant" as Levante, or the first bunches of Chardonnay illuminated by the sunrise in Ronco Calino vineyards. A true hymn to Spring. Lèant Curtefranca Bianco DOC is a white Lombard wine made from Chardonnay grapes of clonal material selected in Burgundy. The harvest is carried out by hand, in boxes, with selection of the bunches before crushing, in the first ten days of September. After a short maceration, grapes are softly pressed and they ferment in thermo-conditioned stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18-20 °C. The wine ages in steel in contact with fermentation yeasts for about 6 months.
Pale straw yellow with greenish undetones. Fruity olfactory opening, reminiscent of pineapple and apple, peach and apricot, with notes of white and yellow flowers, giving way to vanilla, spicy notes of pink pepper and citrus. A slight hint of citrus leaf and evergreen hedge. On the palate it is elegant, with good structure and richness, supported by a pleasant acid sensation. Long and persistent finish, dominated by an optimal ratio between good flavour and gentle softness. In the aftertaste, the fruity and honey-citrine notes of exotic flowers and spices return. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 10-12 °C.
