Marzemino Trentino DOC Istituto Agrario San Michele all'Adige
Marzemino is a red-berry grape spread in Trentino Alto Adige mainly in the area of Vallagarina, its elective homeland. Edmund Mach Foundation's Marzemino Trentino DOC is part of "Istituto Agrario" monovarietal wine line, obtained from 100% Marzemino grapes cultivated in located in the south-western part of Rovereto, along the river Adige. After the manual harvest carried out towards the end of September, the must macerates 8 days maceration at a temperature of 25 °C. The wine obtained then refines in steel for about 6 months.
Ruby red colour with violet hues. It opens to the nose with floral and fruity scents: violet, plum and small red fruits. The taste is extremely elegant, soft and well-balanced. We suggest serving it at a temperature of 16-18 °C.
FOOD MATCHING SUGGESTIONS
