Moscato Giallo Kössler
Moscato Giallo of Kössler winery is white wine from Goldmustakeller grapes, grown in vineyards around the San Paolo area. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature, then agedon the yeasts for 5-7 monthes, without malolactic fermentation.
Kössler Moscato Giallo is characterized by an intense aromatic charge, which mostly reminds ripe white fruits, such as peaches, apples and citrus, along with typical notes of nutmeg, lemon balm and sage. On the palate its natural residual sweetness and his sour mood make this wine a pleasant South Tyrolean white wine as an aperitif, with persistent and inviting aromas.
The recommended food matching of Kössler Moscato Giallo? It is perfect when served at 6-8 °C as a dry aperitif. It pairs well also with desserts such as krapfens, strudels, cakes and mature and blue cheese.
The winery KÖSSLER is situated in the picturesque medieval wine village of St. Pauls, that is the heart of one of South Tyrol's most beautiful wine-growing areas. Its impressive church, known as the "cathedral in the country", dominates St. Pauls and can be seen for miles, while the narrow streets and wine cellars are well worth seeing and visiting.
The cellary has its origin already in the year 1631. The historic tradition has been bounded with innovation and passion and shows its results in the fine quality of Kossler wines.
